New Car Market in Romania: July, 2025 Figures Are Released

According to data, published by the General Directorate For Driving Licenses and Car Registration (DRCPIV) there were 17908 new light vehicles registered in Romania in June, 2025. CY2025 registrations amount to 88687 units (PC: 80566 units, LCV: 8121 units)

There were 16404 new passenger cars registered in July.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 5100 units
Toyota: 1768 units
Škoda: 1257 units
Hyundai: 1128 units
Renault: 1054 units
Volkswagen: 1026 units
Ford: 723 units
Suzuki: 559 units
Mercedes: 549 units
BMW: 398 units

There were 1504 new LCVs registered in July.

Ford: 374 units
Volkswagen: 274 units
Iveco: 192 units
Renault: 191 units
Fiat: 160 units
Mercedes: 89 units
Toyota: 79 units
Isuzu: 34 units
