New Car Market in Romania: May, 2024 Figures Are Released

According to data, published by the General Directorate For Driving Licenses and Car Registration (DRCPIV) there were 17021 new light vehicles registered in Romania during May, 2024. CY2024 total amounts to 68656 units (PC: 61163 units, LCV: 7493 units)

There were 15546 new passenger cars registered in May.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 5517 units
Renault: 1420 units
Toyota: 1131 units
Škoda: 1099 units
Volkswagen: 969 units
Hyundai: 828 units
Ford: 806 units

There were 1475 new LCVs registered in May.
Leading brands:
Ford: 335 units
Renault: 330 units
Iveco: 159 units
Volkswagen: 151 units
Fiat: 131 units
