New car market in Russia: March, 2023 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), in March 2023, sales of new cars and light commercial vehicles decreased by 10.6% compared to March 2022 and amounted to 48,414 cars.

In Q1 of 2023, sales of new cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia, as reported by the official manufacturers/distributors, decreased by 44.7% compared to the same period of 2022 or by 123,855 sold units, and amounted to 153,477 cars.

Lada: 23,335 units
Haval: 6,780 units
Geely: 5,119 units
GAZ*: 5,112 units
UAZ*: 2,605 units
Changan: 1,517 units
Kia: 1,505 units
Great Wall: 450 units
Hyundai: 323 units
Sollers: 312 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
