New Car Market in Romania: May, 2022 Figures Are Released

According to data, published by the General Directorate For Driving Licenses and Car Registration (DRCPIV) there were 11338 new light vehicles registered in Romania during May, 2022. Yearly total amounts to 53230 units (PC: 47325 units, LCV: 5905 units).

There were 10154 new passenger cars registered in May.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 2988 units
Toyota: 959 units
Ford: 860 units
Škoda: 701 units
Hyundai: 639 units

There were 1184 new LCVs registered in May.
Leading brands:
Renault: 287 units
Ford: 226 units
Iveco: 197 units
Mercedes-Benz: 114 units
Toyota: 65 units
