New car market in Russia: May, 2022 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 83.5% in May 2022 compared to the same month of the preceding year. A total of 24,268 units were sold last month; 123,110 units less than in May 2021.

Top 10 brands in May, 2022:
Lada: 6,012 units
Kia: 3,606 units
Hyundai*: 2,916 units
GAZ*: 1,890 units
Renault*: 1,789 units
UAZ*: 1,302 units
Geely: 907 units
Haval: 892 units
Škoda: 805 units
Volkswagen: 579 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
