New car market in Russia: January, 2022 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 3.7% in January 2022 compared to the same month of the preceding year. A total of 91,662 units were sold last month; 3,551 units less than in January 2021.

Top 10 brands in January, 2022:
Lada: 18,045 units
Kia: 12,321 units
Hyundai*: 11,356 units
Renault*: 7,938 units
Toyota*: 6,126 units
Volkswagen: 4,317 units
Nissan: 4,254 units
Škoda: 3,840 units
Haval: 3,169 units
Chery: 2,820 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
