New Car Market in Romania: August, 2021 Figures Are Released

According to data, published by the General Directorate For Driving Licenses and Car Registration (DRCPIV) there were 17822 new light vehicles registered in Romania during August, 2021. Total new registrations in 2021: 90149 units (PC: 79102 units, LCV: 11047 units)

There were 16124 new passenger cars registered in August.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 6293 units
Hyundai: 1207 units
Toyota: 1097 units
Volkswagen: 989 units
Renault: 896 units

There were 1698 new LCVs registered in August.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 516 units
Ford: 227 units
Renault: 203 units
Mercedes: 151 units
Iveco: 149 units
