New car market in Russia: January, 2021 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 4,2% in January 2021 compared to the same month of the preceding year. In the first month of the current year, 95,213 units were sold; 4,156 units less than in January 2020.

Top 10 brands in January, 2021:
Lada: 21,857 units
Kia: 15,051 units
Hyundai: 10,949 units
Renault: 8,534 units
Škoda: 6,036 units
Volkswagen: 5,653 units
Toyota: 5,333 units
Nissan: 3,272 units
Mazda: 2,153 units
GAZ*: 2,102 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
