New car market in Russia: June, 2020 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 14,6% in June 2020 compared to the same month of the previous year. This June, 122,622 units were sold; 21,038 units less than in June 2019.

In the first half of 2020, sales of new cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 23,3% compared to the same period in 2019 or by 192,791 sold units, and amounted to 635,959 cars, AEB AMC reported.

Lada: 28,020 units
Kia: 17,007 units
Hyundai: 13,373 units
Renault*: 10,704 units
Volkswagen: 7,553 units
Toyota: 7,364 units
Škoda: 7,282 units
Nissan: 4,267 units
GAZ*: 3,760 units
UAZ*: 2,770 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
