New car market in Russia: January, 2020 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia increased by 1.8% in January 2020 compared to the same month of the previous year. In January, 102,102 units were sold; 1,799 units more than in January 2019.

Top 10 brands in January, 2020:
Lada: 21,790 units
Kia: 14,955 units
Hyundai: 11,395 units
Renault*: 8,293 units
Toyota: 6,405 units
Volkswagen: 6,269 units
Škoda: 5,945 units
Nissan: 4,938 units
Mercedes-Benz: 2,640 units
GAZ LCV*: 2,568 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
