New car market in Russia: July, 2019 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 2,4% in July 2019 compared to the same month of the previous year. This July, 139,968 units were sold; 3,484 units less than in July 2018.

In the first seven months of 2019, a total of 968,718 new cars and LCVs were sold in Russia.

Top 10 brands in July, 2019:
Lada: 29,486 units
Kia: 18,811 units
Hyundai: 13,849 units
Renault*: 11,765 units
Toyota: 9,367 units
Volkswagen: 8,328 units
Škoda: 7,307 units
GAZ LCV: 5,139 units
Nissan*: 3,980 units
Mercedes-Benz: 3,469 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
