New car market in Moldova: May, 2018 figures are released

According to figures released by local authorities, there were 586 new light vehicles registered in Moldova during May, 2018. In the first five months of 2018 there were 2437 units registered (PC: 2308 units, LCV: 129 units). Many of the vehicles, which are usually registered as an LCV, are registered as a PC in Moldova.

There were 556 new passenger cars registered in May.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 103 units
Toyota: 82 units
Škoda: 61 units
Hyundai: 45 unit
Kia: 38 units

There were 30 new LCVs registered in May.
