New car market in Russia: January, 2018 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia increased by 31,3% in January 2018 compared to the same month of the previous year. This January, 102,464 units were sold; 24,428 units more than in January 2017.

Top 10 brands in January, 2018:
Lada: 21,005 units
Kia: 15,310 units
Hyundai: 8,752 units
Renault*: 7,880 units
Volkswagen: 5,593 units
Nissan*: 5,376 units
Toyota*: 5,151 units
Škoda: 4,501 units
Ford*: 3,132 units
GAZ*: 2,574 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
