New car market in Moldova: September, 2017 figures are released

According to figures released by local authorities, there were 588 new light vehicles registered in Moldova during September, 2017. In the first nine months of 2017 total registrations amounted to 3813 units (PC: 3624 units, LCV: 189 units). Many of the vehicles, which are usually registered as an LCV, are registered as a PC in Moldova.

There were 493 new passenger cars registered in September.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 79 units
Toyota: 65 units
Škoda: 63 units
Hyundai: 41 units
Kia: 32 units

There were 95 new LCVs registered in September, with 64 of those being a Renault.
