New car market in Russia: April, 2017 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia increased by 6,9% in April 2017 compared to the same month of 2016. This April 129,476 units were sold; 8,324 units more than in April 2016.

In the first four months of 2017, 451,945 cars and LCVs were sold in Russia.

Lada: 26,337 units
Kia: 16,003 units
Hyundai*: 13,656 units
Renault*: 11,574 units
Volkswagen: 7,257 units
Toyota*: 7,052 units
Škoda: 5,374 units
Nissan*: 4,944 units
GAZ*: 4,785 units
Ford*: 4,049 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
