New car market in Russia: March, 2017 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia increased by 9,4% in March 2017 compared to the same month of 2016. This March 137,894 units were sold; 11,900 units more than in March 2016.

In the first three months of 2017, 322,464 cars and LCVs were sold in Russia.

Top 10 brands in March, 2017:
Lada: 25,110 units
Kia: 14,614 units
Hyundai*: 14,219 units
Renault*: 11,274 units
Toyota*: 9,709 units
Nissan*: 8,068 units
Volkswagen: 6,953 units
GAZ*: 5,009 units
Škoda: 4,853 units
UAZ*: 4,582 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
