New car market in Russia: August, 2013 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), August 2013 saw the decrease in sales of new cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia by 10 % in comparison to the same period in 2012. This August 231.915 units were sold; this is 27,136 units less than in August, 2012.

Kia: 17,013 units
Renault: 15,181 units
Hyundai: 15,984 units
Volkswagen: 14,306 units (including VW NFZ)
Chevrolet: 14,219 units
Toyota: 13,778 units
Nissan: 11,611 units
Ford: 8,938 units
GAZ: 7,538
