TRNAVA, Slovak Republic - PSA Peugeot Citroën Slovakia extends working hours at its Trnava plant to meet increased demand, company spokesman Peter Švec told the TASR newswire. Afternoon shifts will be extended by an hour throughout February, and will probably remain so in March too.
“This is a good signal for us, particularly at a time of crisis,” he said, adding that the output is mainly bound for Western Europe, especially Germany and Italy.
The Trnava plant currently produces two models, the Peugeot 207 and the Citroen C3 Picasso.
