New car market in Romania: July, 2013 figures are released

The latest statistical bulletin has been published by Automotive Manufacturers and Importers Association in Romania. In July, there were 7,751 new cars and LCVs sold by dealers.

There were 7,105 new passenger cars registered:
Leading brands
Dacia: 2,852 units
Volkswagen: 699 units
Skoda: 422 units
Ford: 420 units
Opel: 374 units
Renault: 337 units
Hyundai: 270 units
Toyota: 240 units
Peugeot: 166 units

There were 646 LCVs registered
Leading brands:
Dacia: 146 units
Ford: 90 units
Renault: 72 units
Mercedes-Benz: 67 units
Fiat and Volkswagen: 53-53 units
