New car market in Russia: December, 2016 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 1% in December 2016 compared to the same month of 2015. This November 145,668 units were sold; 1,526 units less than in December 2015.
With 1,425,791 new cars and LCVs sold in 2016, total sales declined by 11% or 176,319 units year-on-year.

Lada: 27,630 units
Hyundai*: 14,047 units
Renault*: 13,765 units
Kia: 13,193 units
Toyota*: 10,417 units
Volkswagen: 7,589 units
GAZ*: 7,517 units
Nissan*: 6,942 units
UAZ*: 5,909 units
Škoda: 5,016 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
