New car market in Russia: October, 2016 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 2,6% in October 2016 compared to the same month of 2015. This October 126,658 units were sold; 3,395 units less than in October 2015.
Total sales in the first ten months of 2016 amounted to 1,147,670 cars.

Top 10 brands in October, 2016:
Lada: 23,307 units
Kia: 15,015 units
Hyundai*: 14,190 units
Renault*: 11,012 units
Toyota*: 7,740 units
Volkswagen: 6,996 units
GAZ*: 5,591 units
UAZ*: 5,316 units
Nissan*: 5,029 units
Škoda: 4,620 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
