Mecaplast Opens New Plant in Serbia

Mecaplast invested €10 million in the project, which will create 120 jobs by 2013. The company has been awarded by Fiat to develop and manufacture interior, exterior and engine plastic parts
for the Fiat 500L small MPV, produced at the carmaker’s local plant in Kragujevac.

Mecaplast already has three production plants in Central Europe, two wholly-owned subsidiaries in the Czech Republic (Pardubice,Zebrak) and a joint venture with Denso and Toyota Boshoku in Poland (Legnica).
