Renault Duster Enters Production at Avtoframos

Customers will be able to choose from two petrol engine options (1.6l 105hp and 2.0l 138hp), or pick the 1.5l diesel unit with 85hp. Depending on the engine type and equipment level, it will be available with either manual or automatic transmission, as well as front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Sales of the Duster is due to start in early 2012 in Russia, with a base price tag of RUB449,000 (app. €10,800).

Like other locally produced Renault models, the Duster has an already high localization rate of 50%, which will be further improved to reach 74% by 2013.
