Valeo Opens New Parts Manufacturing Plant in Nizhny Novgorod

The inauguration event was attended by Jacques Aschenbroich, the General Director of Valeo, and by Vladimir Nefedov, the Minister of Industry and Innovation of Nizhny Novgorod. The new plant is engaged in the production of door locks and exterior lighting units, as well as windshield washer systems for cars produced by AvtoVAZ, PSA Peugeot Citroën and the Renault-Nissan Alliance. The factory currently employs some 50 workers, but with production ramping up, the number of workforce will grow to 150. The annual production capacity of the plant is 400 thousand headlights and taillights.
