Mando Lays Cornerstone of €90 Million Components Plant in Poland

The plant is being erected in a 13.21 hectares plot in the Walbrzych Special Economic Zone. Once completed, it will produce steering, braking and suspension parts for Hyundai (Czech Republic), Kia (Slovakia), Opel (Poland, Germany), PSA (France), Renault (France) and VW (Germany). Mando plans to invest zł390 million (app. €90 million) and create 280 jobs at the site by the end of 2015. The Walbrzych plant will be the supplier’s first production facility in Central Europe.
