Lada Granta Pre-Series Production Begins

Pre-series cars will go to dealers for demonstration purposes and for test drives. Serial production of Lada Granta is scheduled to begin in November, while sales of the new model to commence in early December. The company began taking orders for the Granta already in September.

Prices for budget car Lada Granta in the base set of "standard" starting from 229 rubles. The Granta will be available in three trim levels (standard, norma and lux) and with three petrol engine options (1.6l 84hp, 1.6l 90hp and 1.6 16V 98hp), all connected to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

AvtoVAZ plans to produce 150 thousand Granta next year.
