Bulgaria: New Car Sales Improve in the First Eight Months of 2011

According to the Association of Car Manufacturers and Their Authorised Representatives of Bulgaria (ACM), the sales of new vehicles increased by 20% year-on-year in the first eight months of 2011. With an 11% market share Volkswagen remain the most polular brand in the Bulgarian car market, followed by Ford with (9%) and Toyota (8.5%).

Between January and August, a little of over 14 thousand new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles were sold in the Bulgarian market
