Olsa Invests PLN44 Mln to Expand Polish Plant

Olsa Poland Sp. z o.o., a member of Italian supplier Olsa S.p.A., plans to invest PLN44 million (approx. €10.5 million) in expanding production of exterior and interior lighting components and systems at its base in the Kostrzyn-Slubice Special Economic Zone. The new production hall and warehouse will be built on a 3.2ha plot. The project will create at least 100 new jobs by the end of 2014, while it will maintain the plant’s current staff of 436 during the next 5 years. About 20% of the local production will be directed to the domestic market. Major customers include Volkswagen AG, Olsa S.p.A., Volkswagen Navarra SA.

Olsa inaugurated the Kostrzyn plant in March 2006. In June 2008 it expanded the site by building another plant for the production of rear lamps.

Olsa plans to expand its Polish production unit and hire 100 employees there by 2015
