Johnson Controls Creates 200 Jobs at New Factory in Romania

US supplier Johnson Controls International, Inc. (JCI) plans to hire 200 workers at its new plant in the Craiova Industrial Park, the company’s Communications Director for Europe, Ulrich Andree announced, Mediafax reports. The new Romanian unit will provide seat covers and complete seat assemblies for Ford’s local plant. According to Andree, construction of the new factory will be completed in the first half of 2012 with production to start at the end of May.

JCI has been present in Romania since 2004, where it currently operates three factories which produce components for the automotive industry. These are located in Mioveni, Pitesti and Ploiesti.
