Konsberg’s Slovakian Unit Awarded New €25 Mln Driveline Systems Contract

Kongsberg Automotive (KA) has received an order from a major European OEM for the supply of manual gear shifters across their range of low-emission 4-cylinder petrol engine B and C segment cars. The new business will include five variants of shifter systems.

The contract has a total value of €25 million over 6 years. Production will start in Q4 2013 at KA’s Vrable facility in western Slovakia.
