AvtoVAZ Completes Moving Production of the Lada 2107 to Izhevsk

AvtoVAZ has completed moving production of the Lada 2107 from its plant in Togliatti to Izhevsk. Some 7 thousand units of the Lada ’Classic’ are planned to be built at IzhAvto in July, and a total of 47 thousand until the end of 2011.

IzhAvto started mass production of the Lada 2107 at the end of April. In the first half of the year 6.624 units rolld off the assembly line at the Izhevsk plant. The facilty also produces the Lada 2104 wagon and the Izh 27175 small van.
