South Korea's Yura Signs MoU for Fourth Serbian Plant

South Korea's Yura Corp. will sign an agreement today with Serbian Deputy Prime Minister for Economy and Regional Development Verica Kalanovic on a new factory in Leskovac, the company’s fourth plant in Serbia.

After successful construction projects in Raca and Nis, Yura is interested in further expanding its presence in Serbia to keep track with the development of its key customers, Hyundai and Kia.

The company plans to invest €13 million in setting up the plant in Leskovac where it will create 1,500 jobs.

Yura Corp. is divided into three businesses: cables and cable harnesses, DTG & ADR (digital tachograph and accient data recorder) as well as ignition components (spark plugs, glow plugs and ignition coils).
