3M Opens Additional Plants in Poland

The official opening ceremony of the plants which will manufacture products for the automotive and space industries, took place on June 22nd, 2011 in Wroclaw. The new factories are the concern’s 5th and 6th plants operating in the city. The value of 3M's recent investments in Poland is about US$100 million (€70 million) and the number of new jobs created is to reach 250.

3M has been present in Wroclaw for 10 years. So far the US-based company has invested US$300 million (€210 million) and created 1,400 jobs in Wroclaw.
