ZAZ to Launch Pilot Production of the Forza Sedan

ZAPOROZHYE, Ukraine - Ukraine’s largest auto maker Zaporozhye Car Plant (ZAZ) has commenced pilot production of its new passenger car, the ZAZ Forza Sedan, with an hourly production capacity of eight units. The C-segment vehicle is based on the Chinese Chery Fulwin 2 (A13), and will be assembled also as a five-door hatchback in Ukraine. For both body versions a sole engine option, a China-sourced 1.5 litre 80kW petrol powerplant will be available. Serial production of the Forza Forza sedan is scheduled to start in mid-February. To host assembly of the Forza, the production line at the Zaporozhye plant has been modernized with various equipments from renowned international manufacturers like Dürr AG, Carl Schenck AG and Fuji Co.
