New car market in Russia: January, 2016 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 29,1% in January 2016 compared to the same month of 2015. This January 81,849 units were sold; 33,615 units less than in January 2015.

Top 10 brands in January, 2016:
Lada: 15,577 units
Kia: 9,049 units
Hyundai*: 8,010 units
Toyota*: 6,064 units
Renault*: 5,014 units
Nissan*: 4,494 units
Volkswagen: 4,425 units
Škoda: 3,556 units
Mercedes-Benz: 3,205 units
Ford: 2,258 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
