Bridgestone Opens Back Office Centre in Poznan

Japanese tyre producer Bridgestone is to open a back-office centre in Poznan in west-central Poland, the city authorities announced. According to PMR, the unit will provide finance and accounting support for the group’s operations in various locations. The capital of Wielkopolskie province beat Brussels, which was also considered as a prospective location for the investment. The centre will employ 115 workers.
Bridgestone has been operating a tyre manufacturing facility in Poznan since July 1998. Last year the company announced that it will invest €105million to expand production at the plant.
