WARSAW, Poland - According to Polish media reports, Draexlmaier has launched construction of a new production facility and plans to hire about 300 new workers at its Jelenia Gora plant. Production of interior parts for Jaguar and Land Rover will be launched in 2012.
Last year, it was announced that Draexlmaier will be streamlining its operations in Poland and move production to Tunisia. But this decision has now been reversed.
This will be the third production hall at the site which was set up in 2007. Today it employs about 600 people. According to local plant manager, Thomas Krueger a fourth production hall is under consideration as well.
