Audi Breaks Ground on New Engine Research Center in Hungary

GYŐR, Hungary - Audi Hungaria Motor Kft., the Hungarian unit of German car manufacturer Audi, has broken ground on a new HUF2.5 billion (approx. €9.5 million) building complex for its Engine Research Center in Győr, the company announced today.

Audi Hungaria will hire 30 more engineers and technicians for research, development, testing and evaluation of engines at the 7,400 square meter building, which is expected to be completed within a year’s time. Audi Hungaria currently employs 40 people at its Engine Research Center opened in March 2010.

Audi Hungaria Motor broke ground on a new building complex for its Engine Research Center in Győr yesterday.
