ContiTech’s Romanian subsidiary is One of Romania’s Most Succesful Companies

BUCHAREST, Romania - ContiTech Fluid Automotive Romania S.R.L. has again been cited as one of the country’s most successful companies. Among the manufacturers of rubber parts, the company captured first place nationwide – as it had already done before in 2004 and 2005. In Satu Mare County, ContiTech Fluid Romania was rated second best in the “large business” category. Of crucial importance were the profit figures for fiscal 2009. The citations are awarded annually by the National Council of Small and Medium-Sized Business in Romania. With a workforce of around 1000 at its plant in Carei, the company produces approx. 7 million turbocharger hoses and 8 million heating and cooling lines for the automotive industry in 2010.
