New car market in Russia: February, 2015 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 37,9% in February 2015 compared to the same period of 2014. This February 128,298 units were sold; 78,228 units less than in February, 2014.
In the first two months of 2015, 243,826 new cars and LCVs were sold in Russia.

Top 10 brands in February, 2015:
Lada: 23,639 units
Hyundai*: 13,233 units
Kia: 12,563 units
Nissan*: 9,447 units
Renault*: 9,100 units
Toyota*: 7,143 units
Volkswagen: 5,804 units
Škoda: 5,618 units
Mercedes-Benz: 4,151 units
BMW: 3,550 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
