New car market in Russia: January, 2015 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC) sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 24,4% in January 2015 compared to the same period of 2014. This January 115,390 units were sold; 37,272 units less than in January, 2014.

Top 10 brands in January, 2015:
Lada: 17,492 units
Hyundai*: 12,707 units
Kia: 11,346 units
Nissan*: 9,101 units
Renault*: 8,809 units
Toyota*: 7,149 units
Volkswagen: 6,165 units
Škoda: 5,125 units
Mitsubishi: 3,220 units
Mercedes-Benz: 3,175 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
