GENEVA, Switzerland - Romanian car maker Dacia will stop producing its 5-door LCV, the Logan Van in 2012 as it will be replaced by a new model, to be built at Renault’s Tangier plant starting early next year, Vincent Carre, Marketing Director of Dacia has announced at the International Geneva Motor Show.
According to him, the plant in Pitesti, southern Romania, has reached full capacity and will focus on the production of the Duster. He added Dacia might also start the production of Duster Pick Up there.
In Tangier, the new LCV will be produced along with a new pick-up, which later may replace the current Logan Pick Up.
