New car market in Moldova: October, 2014 figures are released

According to figures released by local authorities, there were 711 new light vehicles registered in Moldova during October, 2014.
Between January and October of 2014, total new light vehicle registrations in Moldova amounted to 3,944 units (3,654 passenger cars and 290 LCVs).

There were 592 new passenger cars sold in October.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 321 units
Škoda: 67 units
Hyundai: 23 units
Nissan: 14 units
Chevrolet: 13 units

There were 119 LCVs registered in October.
Leading brands:
Opel: 100 units
Volkswagen: 3 units
Mercedes-Benz: 3 units
