New car market in Bulgaria: August, 2014 figures are released

According to data published by the Bulgarian Association of Car Manufacturers, there were 1,832 light vehicles sold in Bulgaria during August, 2014.
In the first eight months of 2014, total new light vehicle registrations in Bulgaria amounted to 16,090 units (PC: 13,590 units/LCV: 2,500 units).
Hyundai and Mercedes-Benz are not members of this association, so their figures are not included.

There were 1,520 passenger cars sold in August.
Leading brands:
Škoda: 180 units
Dacia: 172 units
Volkswagen: 150 units
Toyota: 148 units
Renault: 111 units

There were 312 LCVs sold in August.
Leading brands:
Great Wall: 36 units
Citroën: 34 units
Dacia: 33 units
Volkswagen: 32 units
Ford: 31 units
