German company Leoni AG, based in Nuremberg, is a world renowned manufacturer of insulated wires, cables for the electrical industry (division LEONI Wire & Cable) and cable harnesses for the automotive industry (Wiring Systems Division). LEONI Slovakia, Trenčín branch plant was originally founded as LEONI Autokabel Slovakia spol. s.r.o. in October 1993. In January 2013 LEONI three companies operating in Slovakia have developed a common representation of the company under the name of LEONI Slovakia spol. s.r.o., figuring in which the original company as a separate branch plants.
Faurecia Slovakia, s.r.o, branch plant Leather Košice, was established in February 2004. The plant's customers are Daimler, PSA Peugeot Citroen, Audi and Land Rover. Košice establishment belongs to a business group Faurecia Interior Systems and manufactures instrument panels, door panels, armrests and center consoles cars. Focusing on chipping processes, lamination, stitching leather and PVC, which are then coated on the plastic parts.
